Strip Trolley Question

I will be taking the trolley from Ballys to Tropicana. Is there one to board that is specifically going south? I really didn%26#39;t want to ride all the down towards the Stratosphere to get where I need to be.

If you mean the Strip Trolley, it will take about 3 days. First you have to North to the Strat, all the way South to Mandalay Bay, then back North to the Trop.

Looks like a Monorail stop will get you from Bally%26#39;s to MGM Grand, then find your way across the street to the Tropicana.

Might be a shorter walk, or, of course, a taxi.

the strip trolley is a nightmare. We thought it would be a fun way to see the strip and cooler than walking. Well, it sure was slower than walking. It took several hours to go from one end to another and was so bad we got off and walked back.

Don%26#39;t know if the new monorail would be any use to you - maybe someone else can comment?

For 3 dollars you can go right out of the Back of Ballys/Paris and get onto the monorail and go straight over to the MGM, through the casino and out the side entrance over the walkway and into the upper entrance of the Trop. Don%26#39;t forget your free spin on the slot machine on the way in..

I would not take the trolly if they paid me to take it. I took it once and got to see many of the dumsters at the back of hotels. It is slow, slow, slow. I would rather walk as it is faster.

Here is what I would do.

If alone, one of the following depending on the weather, mood, etc:

- Take Bellagio-Monte Carlo Tram (Free). Walk to Trop from MC.

- Walk.

- Take Monorail to MGM ($3)

- Take CAT bus ($2)

If two or more people:

- Cab
