reservations for Top of the World?

Is it necessary/possible to book ahead at this restaurant? What is the average cost per person for dinner? Is it worth it?

We eat there at least once every time in Vegas, lunch or dinner. Reservations made a few days ahead are most necessary on weekends. We have been able to get same-day reservations during the week as a rule. Dinner is expensive and mostly ala carte. Figure $300 for two for appetizers, salada, entra, dessert, wine %26amp; coffee. Without all the extras, it will still be $150 or more. Lunch is much more reasonable, $12 - $24. The view is worth going at least once. The food is very good, but not as special as some others in the same price range.

Wow, $300 for dinner for 2? Really? That seems quite expensive. I have heard good and bad things about the food there. I think hubby and I will go for lunch!!!
