I was just checking some rates and that week is dirt cheap at almost every hotel.

Airfare is very low too.

I seriously might book tonite.

You stumbled upon one of the ';travel secrets'; when going to Las Vegas or Reno/Lake Tahoe. The week immediately AFTER a 3 day holiday weekend is almost ALWAYS dirt cheap for air, hotel and rental cars.

Some prime examples include Labor Day, New Years, MLK Day, President%26#39;s Day and Valentine%26#39;s Day. Way to go...

I am going the week leading up to the Labor Day weekend and the rates/flights are extremely low for that time period, too.

Air %26amp; five nights hotel from Michigan for less than $400.

We got our airfare from Chicago to Vegas and five nights hotel for two for under $700

nsane: You are right on..I got a flight from Seattle on SW for 198 dollars on Sept 1, comped at the El Cortez for fri., sat., and sunday, comped at The Orleans on Labor Day and Sept. 8...bought one night at Lady Luck on the first for 25 dollars and 2 nights at the Gold Coast on Sept. 6 and 7th for 35 dollars a night...great deals...good time to go...8 nights, 9 days for less than 300 dollars...I am not a ';high roller'; but agree that everyone should sign up for the players card at each casino, and use it when playing....jj

I noticed the same thing after the 4th. Next year I%26#39;ll be better able to take advantage.
