Paying to get into Bars???

Do all bars charge an admission fee to get into them?

I am coming to Vegas in November with my boyfriend, and we like to have a drink!

but not sure we want to pay to get in somewhere - to then pay loads for drinks!

Please advise and thanks in advance!

Bars don%26#39;t generally charge admission, clubs do. The only exception I have heard of is a bar that shows a lot of UK football (I refuse to call it soccer) who charge when matches are on.

Bars generally don%26#39;t. Nightclubs and danceclubs tend to have a cover charge on top of any drink charges. I suppose its to keep the riff-raff out.

There are also quite a few bars with entertainment that do not charge admission.

Most are just happy to charge you high prices for their drinks.

We are either staying at Aladdin or Monte carlo - not made the choice yet!!!

if you are just looking for a few drinks...put a twenty in a v.p machine at the bar...play slow.......and your drinks will be free...just leave a nice tip ...cheers

I know you can get into most bars for free. And the clubs, while there is a charge to most. When I was in Vegas, there were people on the strip passing out cards to get into the clubs for free and free VIP entrance!

If u have ur key card, u might be able to negotiate ur way into that hotel%26#39;s clubs and bars.

...... a lot of ';bars'; you can go to early just before they start a cover charge........
