Good game to learn?

I%26#39;m not a huge gambler. But I know basic strategy for Black Jack, Jacks or Better VP, and Deuces Wild VP. What%26#39;s another game that is worth learning within the next month (for entertainment and payback purposes) to play on the strip?

and to any smart*sses... yes,I know how to play slots.

Good game to learn?

You can start with a simple Bingo game.

Good game to learn?

Craps

My hubby and I have lightly taken up ';Let it Ride';

I played on $100.00 for 2 1/2 hours and hubby played longer on his $100.00 and left the table with $350.00

It was fun.

Does ';Let it ride'; have good odds without being an expert?

Craps seems like the game to know when it comes to having fun and not getting raked over the coals (with good strategy). But is it easy to learn some basics of the game to know what to do without getting killed?

Craps looks fun, but that table look intimidating.

I am not sure of the actual odds. There will probably be alot of replies that will say this is a ';loser'; game.

I learned how to play from wizzardofodds.com

It is extremely easy to learn and the ';wizard'; will tell you if you played your hand correctly. That was important to me before I actually stepped up to a table.

It is a fun, social game when the table is full. You are not competing with the other players or dealer. It is a hoot.

I am now learning baccarat, also from the ';wizard';

Again it is simple to learn. According to the Travel channel- (Vegas show) casino managers say people are intimidated to play baccarat.?? Dunno why. I am not yet ready to step up to a table- my hubby and I may have to play a few hands with real cards for the reality of it.

Good luck!!!

Pai Gow Poker is a fun game that takes awhile to loose your money. You make two hands, high and low and play against the dealer. You have to win both to win, lose both to lose, if you split it is a push.

Three-card poker is an easy game to learn. It can be expensive, though.

stl cards -

Let It Ride - Very easy to learn and there%26#39;s no skill involved. You place 3 bets and you get three cards. If you have a par of 10%26#39;s or better, you win. If not, you can pull back your first bet and the dealer flips over a 4th card. If you make a pair of tens or better you win, if not you can pull back the second bet. The dealer then flips the 5th card. If you made a pair of 10%26#39;s or better you win, if not you lose the 3rd bet. The 4th and 5th cards are communal so everyone at the table uses them to try and make a better hand. You don%26#39;t have to beat anyone, you just have to have the pair of 10%26#39;s or better. There%26#39;s also a bonus bet, $1 each time, and if you get certain hands, you receive a bonus payout.

Craps - I love to play craps, and I too was intimidated by the table. The games moves quickly but it%26#39;s a lot of fun. I don%26#39;t know if casinos still offer lessons, but 8 years ago I took a craps lesson at the Flamingo and that%26#39;s how I learned. It%26#39;s actually fairly easy to play. So check with the hotel you%26#39;re staying at and see if they offer lessons.

Caribbean stud and Pai Gow Poker are easy to learn also.

Good luck with whatever you choose to add to your gambling repertoire.

SS

If you enjoy being with others, expressing your emotions, and making money during a ';hot'; roll, it is Craps!

Once you ignore all of the bets made on the middle of the table (proposition bets), it becomes a much simpler game. Pass line with odds is the only bet a beginner need to know. In time you will pick up on the other types of bets.

Playing at a $5 minimum table, you need a stake of $100. Quit playing if you lose $50.

Barbary Coast offers craps lessons every morning. Afterwards, they open a table just for beginners. Because everyone at the table is new to the game, there%26#39;s no need to feel intimidated.
