Ellis Island

Roughly 5 weeks until we are in vegas.....

Planning a trip to Ellis Island for lunch one day, and I know they are famous for the $4.95 steak offer, but was curious if anyone had eaten anything else off their menu. Any recomendations would be great as the wife is not a huge steak person.

Ellis Island

bumping this for clemens (I too would like to know!).

Ellis Island

Thanks jules

I haven%26#39;t tried anything but the steak special but everything else looked good. I think the prime rib dinner is somewhere between $8-10 and the portion was ridiculously huge! All the comments I%26#39;ve seen about the rest of the menu have been favorable.

Get two of the steak dinners and trade your wife some of your sides (soup or salad, green beans and tater) for her steak.

TWO steaks for you, YUMMMM...

I had the steak, eggs, hashbrowns, and toast meal.

I washed it down with some excellent fresh brewed rootbeer.

All of which was excellent.

You can go to their website and check out their menu for other ideas.

I%26#39;ve only eaten there twice, but plan on going back on my next trip (7 more days). We did have the steak special--very good food. Three of us went there for breakfast and were ordering food like crazy--omelets, toast, bacon, juices, etc. The bill came to $12.00 and everything was excellent.

I%26#39;ve had the rib special, but you have to eat it at their brewpub. I doubt you%26#39;d want to sit in the restaurant with your wife over at the brewpub. Anyway the ribs were pretty good but the sides were just average. You can also get chicken instead of the ribs.

I recommend that you try their micro-brews. I was impressed.

I like the prime rib better than the steak.
