Any opinions on which to stay in. Heard long walking distance from new Venezia tower.
Venetian vs Venezia new tower
I stayed in the most basic Venezia room last May and in a basic Venetian room in July %26#39;05 and enjoyed both stays a great deal.
The Venezia tower is more of a trick to get to due to a longer walk and extra elevator ride. They also provide a separate check-in area and turn down service, complete with chocolates and the rooms are also a bit larger than those in the original tower. Beyond those things I found the rooms to be quite similar. Both offered large rooms with sunken sitting areas, two television sets, large bathrooms with walk in showers, soaking tubs, double sinks, a vanity with lighted make up mirror and a separate room for the toilet.
I think most people would enjoy a stay in either tower.
Venetian vs Venezia new tower
I have been intetrested in the diffeernce also. Leaving next week and do not have Venezia tower reservations but was curious if a upgrade would be worth it for the newer tower. The walking would be just fine by me, I walk almost everyday anyway and would enjoy the opportunity to walk off more calories. Is the turn down service %26amp; chocolates included in all the Venezia tower rooms or just the concierge floors? Can%26#39;t wait to leave, 5 days and counting!
Turn down service and chocolates for all floors in the Venezia tower.
You can ask for a Venezia tower room on check-in even if you booked a Venetian tower room. We did and were given a Venezia room with no additional charge.
Country Girl...I%26#39;ll be at the Venetian from the 7-11th, too! Maybe I%26#39;ll see you around the pool? Have a good time!!
Turn down service, breakfast goodies, and drinks in the afternoon! I am going to try for the Venezia tower. Its our 10th anniversary so maybe we can get the newer tower if we ask real nice.
Country Girl, drinks and breakfast are for the Concierge Levels only, not for the whole tower.
Sometimes, the hotel will upgrade someone to the Concierge Level rooms for free, but I think you have to pay to get upgraded to the Concierge Level SERVICES --namely, the lounge, the breakfast, snacks, drinks, etc.
I paid for Concierge once, but it was not worth it TO ME. But a lot of people feel it is worthwhile.
I think the ';old'; tower is just as nice, and it is a lot easier to get to and from my room with only one elevator ride, and a much shorter walk.
Ok, so now I know the difference. Even if there is no upgrades available I know I will enjoy either tower.
