slot play: stay or roam?

We just returned from another trip and on the ride home from the airport started talking about slot play.Which is more common--put your money in and run it through and collect your winnings if any--or move to another machine if there are no hits in the first 5-6 pulls? Just wondered.

slot play: stay or roam?

given that the machines have the same payout ratio it would make absolutely no difference.

I like to play certain name games. but, when there are 6 of the same machines in a row, try some in each. and definitely when you do hit a good one, move. It may hit again soon but the odds are it won%26#39;t for a while.

By the same token, certain machines are cold and stay cold for that day.

about the only way to get lucky on multi coin games, is to juggle the size of the bet. so, you play low, low low, low and when you notice 5-6 spins in a row with not even a small win, up the bet and hope it coincides with a winner.

The positive thing about this method is you will put less money in the machines than the average player with the same bet every pull.

but, bottom line, any thing that is a ';good win';, cash out, walk away with their money.

The machines are not programed to hit at a certain time so it makes no difference if you stay at a machine or move on. Having said that I do move to another vp machine if I don%26#39;t hit after a few tries. It doesn%26#39;t make any sense and I know that but gambling in Vegas makes no sense either but that doesn%26#39;t stop me from doing it.

Slot queen here, love the things! I don%26#39;t know why but whenever I play a machine that won%26#39;t even give a few small hits, if I stay there, it never hits no matter how much I pump into it. I%26#39;ve won lots of pots of anywhere from $300-$1900, each time the machine played with me (slot lovers will know what I mean) within the first $40-$60, in the end I amost always walked away a winner.

I have put more money than I care to admit in ONE slot machine and have it not pay anything. Occasionally I will luck out and hit just enough to get me even again. The wins I have had are the ones where I have put only a $20 in the machine. I am a slow learner, but I try to not give a machine more than $20.

no truth if a machine hits move on it won%26#39;t hit again.playing at turning stone casino in N.Y. and hit $1199 played down to $1150 and cashed in,came back and wife and i were talking, you won%26#39; hit on that machine again and after playing $9.00 more,$1199 again. oh! well.

The only hits I have had of $100 or more have been in the first $20. Maybe thats just me, but if I dont hit any action ( no credits at all ) in $20 -40 then I am gone on a slot machine. Also, it seems that some machines are looser then others , I have found a few machines that seem to be luckier for me than others over days of play.

If a VP machine takes my $20 without paying me on even one hand I try another.

Video BJ seems the same way to me , the machine seems to be either a loser or a winner and you know it pretty quickly. I managed to find 2 good ones recently at a local %26#39;boat%26#39; .
