Mandalay Bay or Mirage in October?

I am visiting Las Vegas in October and I was wondering which hotel is better to stay at, the Mandalay Bay or Mirage (both cost around $200 a night)?? Additionally is it even worth it to stay at one of these hotels or is it better to get a cheaper hotel and then just check out the attractions these hotels have to offer?? What benefits do you get by staying at the hotel is what I guess I%26#39;m asking. Thanks.

Mandalay Bay or Mirage in October?

I like the mandalay bay at pool time but otherwise it is too far from the center of the strip so I would go with the mirage in october, I think the best Value is in a 3 and 4 star hotels. When you go down in price you lose a lot for the money, especially midweek when the prices are pretty close. $200 seems a little high must be a weekend or a big convention, you could check out Treasure Island prices or something like ballys or the monte carlo but I would not drop to the 2 star area

We Just Got Back And stayed At Mandalay it%26#39;s at the end of the strip. But We took the Tram and then walked and took a taxi. Its A nice Place to stay. Nice Rooms

Mirage will be the better deal in October.

Keep checking prices, unless you will be there on the weekend.

We just booked at The Venetian for 149.00 a night..The are all suites!

If you are willing to pay 200.00 for either the Mirage or Mandalay Bay, why not do the Venetian for less?
